When you sign up for Internet fax to email you have two options:
- We issue you with a new Local internet fax number or
- We issue you with a personal 800 Toll-free internet fax number.
(There is no additional cost for using a toll-free or local number)
You can use the issued number directly or by forwarding your existing fax number to it.
Receiving
Faxes
When
faxes are sent to your fax to email number our systems receive the fax and
then converted it to an industry standard
PDF file (or TIFF graphic file if you prefer). TIFFs
are universally supported by Windows PCs and Macs
and will automatically open when you click on
them. See FAQs for more
information about TIFFs and PDFs.
The TIFF or PDF file is then attached to an email and
sent to you at the email address(es) you have
assigned. When you receive the email you can
view the fax onscreen and then you have the
option to either print, save, forward or
delete the email - the choice is yours.
If you have any more questions please visit How to send faxes online.
